It's a quiet moment at work.
I'm staring out the window and munching red seedless grapes.

I love watching people walk past. I know it's so cliche, but they are really that interesting to study candidly. I have a fascination with jaw lines by the way. No two are the same. Such a suble thing (sometimes) that can completely alter a person's look. They give impressions, on attitude.. style.. character.. Maybe not always the right impression, but they help complete a picture.
But back to watching people. Do you ever see the same people walk past your work each day? Past your house? Do you make up stories about them all in your head, or am I just making myself look like someone whose imagination needs cutting down to size? Do you see people who look like mad scientists, with pointy beards, long forest-green trenchcoats and hair that has been combed & gelled to go "whoosh" back from his head? I'm sure I've seen him more than once, but I always blink twice because he looks so fantastical.
Also, in other news, tonight Jason got access to our new place to measure up the bedrooms/living room so that we can get some new carpet happening. It would just be so, so ideal to have that in before we move in. So here's hoping. I'm thinking dark grey & fluffy?
The countdown to Easter is really on now, one more day laaaaaaaaaadies! And dudes. I get to have a girly date with my sweet friend A. on Thursday night. We're going to see Titanic in 3D. I'm definitely bringing a box of tissues. I figure that Jack dying on a mammoth screen is going to produce mammoth tears. How much better to share that with a friend who is equally good at blubbering.
also: hello, I bought shoes.
Love, love, LOVE! Go girl!! :-)
ReplyDeleteEeep!
DeleteThose shoes are epic! Suit you very well. Have fun blubbering ;-)
ReplyDeleteNew carpet sounds fun.....fluffy is nice, but I'd think practically too - keeping it clean and wear and tear etc. That's just me :-P I love fluffy shag pile carpet....
Oh yes, I wouldn't get something too fluffy.. too hard to vaccuum! Something nice but hardy for the lounge room would be needed especially... thanks Bec! xx
DeleteSuper cute shoes !
ReplyDeleteMy husband is like you ... he's a people watcher lol LOVES studying them. I don't work a job where I have this luxury but if I did, I certainly would probably too - i definitely have an imagination so i'm sure I would concoct some elaborate stories in my little head.
Haha, human folk are just so interesting! Does your hubby then tell you all his conclusions about people?
DeleteLOVE the shoes!!! Perfect :)
ReplyDeleteYummy hey :)
Deletelove these shoes!!! so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteNic shoes!
ReplyDeleteThese shoes are super cute!! I've been thinking I need a nude pair of shoes but haven't gotten around to actually buying a pair. Love these.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same! Wanted nude pumps, but Jason didn't like them on me as much as these.
